Below the National Museum lies the unusual chorten shaped
Dungste Lhakhang built in 1421. Dungste Lhakhang pins down the
head of a demoness. The temple is chained to the ground as it is
believed that it will fly off to heaven if it were not. The
murals inside are believed to be the best in Bhutan.
